Meeting place for all tours is Sibiu/Hermannstadt. It can be reached from Vienna in 11 to 12 hours – it goes without saying, with the speed of an off-road vehicle. From Sibiu we drive in several ca. 50 km long stages by several huts to Petresti/Petersdorf and back.

Spring Awakening & Magnificent Woods

These two events in spring and autumn are primarily about the driving. That means: switch to your MT tires, the ground can get pretty wet in spring and autumn, and do not forget about the additional equipment! - It would be ideal to find a co-driver who can be interested in this tour - a helper with the briefing comes always quite in handy.

Carpathians Off-road Excursion

For the Carpathians Off-road Excursion are suitable any kind of all-terrain vehicles. We drive on forest and country roads and the entire distance is manageable with street tires – as long as it doesn’t pour with rain. In case of aridness we know a few “short cuts”, where more experienced drivers can “play”.

Red Bull Romaniacs Scouting Tour

Red Bull Romaniacs is our international enduro competition. The best enduro drivers of the world as well as amateurs fight for over a week against the most difficult racetrack of the world (according to the driver’s opinion). A large part of the route is not accessible to cars. To reach the racetrack with 4x4 rescue and relief cars there are a few other access roads to be found. Military maps and GPS tracks and turning points are available. The track managers will be partly on-site, nevertheless individual navigation is asked for. 100% adventure, own GPS is necessary; generally we spend the nights in inns and hotels. Nevertheless don’t forget your sleeping bags and tents in case the destination is not reached at night. Xventure is putting at your disposal maps and GPS coordinates and if requested a guide. Room and board are to be paid by the participants. After the tour we meet again in Sibiu to exchange GPS data and impressions about the route.

Red Bull Romaniacs Supporting Tour

The entire route of RBR amounts to 1300 km. The rallye caravan drives in 4 off-road days with daily stages of 150 - 320 km through the Carpathian mountains. We are still searching for 4x4 vehicles which can support us as emergency vehicle for rescuing operations, as transporters for camera teams or journalists respectively. Each vehicle receives a route to be covered with map and GPS route. If available please bring your own GPS (Garmin) with you. Taking into account experience and equipment we will assign the routes according to difficulty, share of off-road kilometers etc. We are looking for all types of rider starting with SUV drivers who want to get to know Romania on remote roads and up to experienced trail riders who can struggle with stones, mud and roots. RBR takes care of the overnight stays and meals of the rider. Co-drivers on cost price basis. (Half of the available seats in the vehicle should be free for the mountain rescuers, journalists etc.) Registration until at the latest 15th of May, if possible please earlier.

Family week

The family weekend is also about playing. While mum and dad cruise around in their 4x4 through the countryside, the little ones certainly won't get bored: the elder ones go on an expedition through the woods, chop wood and build a hut. The smaller ones have an entire petting zoo to keep them company: they can play with puppies, calves, young cats, rabbits, ducks and sheep. According to the number of kids we will take with us sufficient "baby and child sitters", who will conscientious take care of the little guests. The kids can naturally also drive along with us (and if daddy is in a good mood, maybe also steer themselves once...). On this family week we will also bring our own two kids along. During this week we will only stop at two different sleeping accommodations. We arrive at the Xventure farm in Petersdorf. Then we leave to the Xventure Hut Ioana. On the one hand because kids have more fun playing when they already know the surroundings a little and on the other hand experience has taught us that parents don't feel like packing bag and baggage every day.
