Insurance

We recommend to effect a return and recovery costs insurance. The rescue helicopter is centrally stationed. Return transport of the injured is available from the Sibiu Airport.

Passport

EU citizens do not need a visa for Romania. Participants need registered motorbikes with licensing, green card and driving permission (ADAC, ÖAMTC) if the motorbike is registered on someone else (this paper makes the frontier formalities easier). The passing through the Romanian border usually takes place rapidly meanwhile.
